What’s your opinion of the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

Homebuilding & Renovating are well established in the self-build sector, are meticulously organised and very slick. They engage well with the visitors and certainly attract the right visitor profile for our business. We are all one big happy family! The success of our business is the Homebuilding & Renovating brand and visa versa. You never seem to lose sight of that.

What do you think about the audience you see, or have seen at the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

Homebuilding & Renovating Shows attract the right calibre of visitors who are are usually very knowledgeable, switched on and know exactly what they want!

Why do you exhibit at the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

We exhibit because it serves our industry extremely well. Exhibitions are our primary source of sales leads. You can't beat face-to-face meetings with the customer! Face to face is important to us. Self-builders are quite often building their forever home, and it is crucial for the success of the job that they quickly build a relationship with the customer to enable them to establish trust with you. The best way to develop that trust is to see the “whites of the eyes” of the person you are dealing with. It’s a fact, “people buy from people” and developing that strong customer connection from the outset is key and you can only do that face-to-face!

What does the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows give you that other shows don’t?

Volume and quality of leads plus there are lots of other ways Homebuilding engages with the visitors.

What’s your opinion of the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

Internorm UK attends nearly 20 exhibitions in a year but the most successful for us are the HBR Shows. They always deliver the quantity but, most importantly, the quality of visitors. Whether it is the two main events at the ExCel or NEC, or the regional ones around the country, they are always well organised and publicised, look like a quality event and the booking process is the easiest out of all shows, something which is important when exhibiting at a lot of them.

What do you think about the audience at the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

The shows have a good cross-section of visitors, who are either at the research stage or come to the event with plans. We book the events as they deliver the right audience.

Do you think face to face marketing is important?

I feel that it is hugely important. What we sell needs to be seen, felt and explained. This cannot be done online. It is about building a relationship and giving potential customers confidence in our products.

Why do you exhibit at the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

We get face-to-face interaction with end customers and direct feedback. Internorm sells via an approved Partner network, not directly to end customers. It is therefore important for us to have direct contact with end customers at Shows. We also favour the size of event, quality of visitors and fantastically organised team.

What’s your opinion of the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

It’s very well organised and promoted really well. It has a good mix of exhibitors - not too much of something or too little of something. Good locations around the UK and a very targeted audience.

Why do you exhibit at the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

We get good quality leads through face to face as people buy people. Where many brands can appear the same at face value,  it’s the

people that can truly set you apart which happens in a face to face show environment.

What does the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows give you that other shows don’t?

We don't attend many other shows but what we have found in the past is that the leads are better at HB&R shows.

Can you tell us anything else about the Shows?

Yes, they really work! And we have lots of fun at the shows.

What’s your opinion of the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

The shows always deliver high quality leads for us. We think highly of the brand and our association with it. The staff at HBR are fantastic, very nice, helpful and knowledgeable people. We will continue to book shows as a business to get in front of our customers. The scale of the larger shows, without a compromise in quality of visitor is unique with HBR.

What do you think about the audience at the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

Generally the people are engaged and knowledgeable with live, active home build or renovation projects.

Why do you exhibit at the shows?

We exhibit at the HBR Shows to maintain market share, develop existing enquiries, receive new enquiries and create more brand awareness.Face to face is important as humans relate to other humans in person, better than in any other way. We sell an expensive product and we need to be able to discuss how we can help our clients and this is best done face to face.

Do you think face to face marketing is important?

I feel that it is hugely important. What we sell needs to be seen, felt and explained. This cannot be done online. It is about building a relationship and giving potential customers confidence in our products. Exhibitions in general mean we can see a high volume of people face to face, which we don't get from any other marketing.
