Allan Corfield
Allan is an award winning RIBA Chartered Architect and has overseen the design of over 600 low energy projects across the UK. Since 2009 Allan has grown his specialist Residential Architecture practice, AC Architects to a team of 20 based near Edinburgh and Swindon. Recently he created AC Structures, a leading engineering business, providing specialist support to self-builders and kit companies.
He is a leading expert in modern methods of construction, is a member of the Structural Timber Association, Passive House Trust and sits on the board of NaCSBA. He has a monthly column in Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine and delivers expert talks at various Homebuilding Shows across the UK.
