New Forest SIPs is a family run business with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. We specialise in SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) a high performance, eco-friendly alternative to traditional building methods. What are SIPs? SIPs are a composite material utilising incredibly dense PU insulation, bonded to OSB3, creating a rigid superstructure. This replaces the block and insulation of traditional methods, combining it into one unified component. We use around 70% less timber than timber frame and provide a consistent thermal envelope around the building, due to the controlled factory process. We use a fully BBA certified product that is fire rated, ensuring it is fully mortgageable and insurable. Due to the airtight construction offered by our unique building system, the already excellent thermal performance of our panels is maximised, reducing the cost to heat your home and therefore your impact on the environment. Our SIPs come in a wide range of thicknesses to suit every application, eliminating the need for extra insulation to achieve the desired performance. Our builds can be combined with an MVHR system to get fresh, filtered air to your home whilst maintaining thermal regulation, allowing a consistent environment throughout the year. Due to the precision, prefabricated nature of SIPs, alongside our streamlined design, manufacture and installation process, time on site is drastically reduced. The average 3 bedroom house can be installed in under 3 weeks, reducing the overall build time. |
