We know, like us, that you have missed conversations in the real world,  in an environment where you can touch, see and compare products, as well as chat to a friendly face, to reassure and advise you about your project.

That’s why safety is our highest priority, and we’ll be creating a Covid-safe environment at the ExCeL, to give you the ultimate confidence in attending.

We’ll ensure every aspect of the event complies strictly with the latest Government official guidelines, and we’ll keep in touch with you to ensure you are kept updated. Keep an eye on your inbox for the latest news.

There will also always be key information published on our website so you can check in at any time.

We thank you for your cooperation and continued support in what is an extraordinary time, but we hope you’ll be as excited as us to welcome you back to the inspiring halls of the London Homebuilding & Renovating Show.

Keeping everyone safe

We ask that anyone who is displaying symptoms of Covid-19, has been asked to self-isolate or lives with someone who has Covid-19 symptoms DOES NOT attend the show at any time.

We are working closely with the ExCeL and our exhibitors to ensure that our visitors feel safe and have a great day (or days!) out at the London Homebuilding & Renovating Show. Here are the key measures that we're putting in place. Our measures sit within one of three categories: Controlled, Clean, Safe.

Future is following the local and government restrictions and guidelines on the current pandemic closely. However, attendance at our event is at your own risk and Future is not liable if you believe you have contracted Covid-19 at our event. The guidance and restrictions are likely to change and therefore Future reserves the right to remove or impose additional restrictions or rules to ensure the accessibility and safety of everyone at the event.

Keep up to date with ExCeL London's guidelines here.

Controlled

COVID-19 status checks:

ExCeL London will be implementing COVID-19 status checks at entry points to the building. Please be prepared to show proof of double vaccination or of a negative lateral flow test (within the last 48-hours) on arrival.

Crowd management:

  • Show staff will continuously monitor popular areas of the show for crowding, and may ask people to come back to certain areas when they’re less busy.
  • Exhibitors will discourage crowding and may introduce signage to encourage visitors to be mindful of this.

Contact tracing:

  • QR codes will be displayed at venue entrances to allow visitors and exhibitors to record their attendance with NHS Track & Trace.

Signage:

  • We will ask that visitors pay attention to venue guidance and directional signage. Signage around the venue and event may request the use of masks and hand sanitiser in certain areas.

Clean

The ExCeL Cleaning Team has been trained to deliver enhanced cleaning procedures:

  • All touch points are regularly wiped with chlorine-based cleaning fluid.

  • All bathrooms are checked and maintained by a dedicated team of cleaners.

  • They have installed a Nimlok Entry Management System (NEMS) at the entrances to all bathrooms, located along the boulevard, to assist with managing the flow of people.

  • Specific waste management procedures, in line with Public Health England, are in place to manage the safe disposal of PPE.

Ventilation

Ventilation has been increased, improving fresh air circulation in line with latest CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) guidance and recommendations. We have also altered our air handling units to draw in fresh air, as opposed to recirculating air.

Hand sanitiser

Hand sanitisers will be provided throughout the public areas of the venue.

Safe

  • If you have any of the advised COVID-19 symptoms please do not attend the venue. If someone in your household COVID-19 symptoms please follow Government guidelines.

  • Face coverings are no longer mandatory but will be encouraged and recommended in crowded and enclosed settings.
  • You may be asked to wear a face covering on a stand, especially when exhibitors are busy.
